yum-repo-richdawe

yum-repo-richdawe is a package that contains configuration files for yum, the updater software for Fedora Core 4 and various other Linuces. These configuration files tell yum to pick up packages from my personal Fedora Core 4 repository. You may be interested in the current list of packages for i386 and x86_64.

To use it, install it like you would any normal rpm:

rpm -ivh http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~phekda/richdawe/fedora/FC4/i386/yum-repo-richdawe-1.0-1.noarch.rpm

or:

rpm -ivh http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~phekda/richdawe/fedora/FC4/x86_64/yum-repo-richdawe-1.0-1.noarch.rpm

(The platform, i386 or x86_64, actually makes no difference for this rpm.)

Then pick up any updates:

yum update

Or maybe you want to install the madwifi drivers:

yum install kernel_madwifi

Note that the i386 and x86_64 packages available may be different. My x86_64 box is a laptop and I use a few extra packages on that than I do on my i386 box.
